Applications are invited from skillful candidates for the posts of Project Associate and Project Assistant. 

Note

• Candidates’ appointment is to be done on contractual basis for a period of one year, for National Cyclone Risk Mitigation Project (NCRMP), at NIDM, Delhi. Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of Walk-in Interview. The interviewis scheduled to be held as follows:
  • 11^th Mar, 2013: Project Associate
  • 8^th Mar, 2013: Project Assistant
    
    
• Interview will be held at National Institute of Disaster Management, 1st Floor, NIDM Building, IIPA Campus, IP Estate, Near  ITO, Mahatma Gandhi Road, New Delhi - 110002, from 10.00 am onwards. Eligibility Conditions

For Project Associate

• Post Graduate Degree in Economics / Statistics or MBA Degree in Finance / Disaster Management from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in the relevant field
  
  
• Should have good knowledge of the Principles and Practices of Disaster Risk Management
  
  
• Should have work knowledge of Windows and know-how of secondary research
  
  
• Sound knowledge of PDNA Tools, with experience of conducting Damage and Loss Assessment is desirable.
  
  
• Should have knowledge and application of Economic and Statistical Modeling
  
  
• Candidates should be below the age of 40 years.

For Project Assistant

• Post Graduate Degree in Social Science / Social works / Disaster Management / Development Studies / Economics / Statistics from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in the relevant field
  
  
• Should have good working knowledge of Computer Applications
  
  
• Sound knowledge of Disaster Management is desirable.
  
  
• Should have work experience preferably in project management, or have worked in projects
  
  
• Good knowledge of Statistical Tools, with field experience of disaster related work, will be consider as an added advantage
  
  
• Candidates should be above the age of 20 years and below the age of 30 years
