Applications are invited from experienced professionals for the following posts:

• Centre Director
• Director (Finance) 

Note

• Appointment of the candidates is to be done on contract basis for a period of five years or on deputation basis initially for a period of three years. Selection of the candidates is to be done on the basis of their performance in academics, work experience and personal interview. 

• Only short-listed candidates will be called for the interview. The interview schedule will be intimated to all short-listed candidates, by the screening committee. Eligibility Conditions

For Centre Director

• Master’s Degree or its equivalent qualification from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Minimum 20 years of administrative / academic / managerial experience in the relevant field
  
  
• Deputation Basis: Should be working as an Officer in pay scale of PB-4, in the Central / State Government or their organization
  
  
• PhD in Design / Technology / Management / Public Policy from a recognized University is desirable.
  
  
• Candidates should be above the age of 45 years and below the age of 55 years.

For Director (Finance)

• Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or MBA Degree in Finance from a prestigious School of Management listed in annual ranking brought out by India Today / Outlook
  
  
• Minimum 15 years of work experience in dealing with Financial, Accounting and Audit Matters
  
  
• Deputation Basis: Should be working as an Officer in pay scale of PB-4, in the Central / State Government or their organization
  
  
• Relevant experience in Government or in dealing withGovt. / Govt. Organizations is desirable.
  
  
• Candidates should be above the age of 40 years and below the age of 55 years.

• Rs. 1000: General / OBC candidates
• Rs.500: SC / ST / PH candidates

• For paying the application fees, candidates should obtain a DD for Rs.1000 / Rs.500, drawn in favor of National Institute of Fashion Technology, payable at New Delhi.

• Application Form, duly complete in all respect, along with recent passport size photograph, DD, ACRs & Vigilance / Cadre Clearance for last 5 years, and copies of all relevant documents, should be submitted to:
