Applications are invited from eligible, experienced and capable candidates for the following positions:

• Registrar
• Joint Director 

Note

• Appointment of the candidates is to be done on contract / deputation basis, for a period of three years, which can be extended for another period of two years. Candidate’s selection is to be done on the basis of personal interview. 

• Candidates short-listed in the initial screening on the basis of academics and work experience will be called for the interview. The schedule of interview will be announced later. Eligibility Conditions

For Registrar

• Master’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Minimum 12 years of work experience in Academics / Personnel / General Administration
  
  
• Deputation Basis: Should be an Officer of the Central Govt. / State Govt. / UT / Autonomous Organization / PSUs, and hold analogous post on regular basis, in the service / department, with minimum 5 years of regular service in PB-3, Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs.6600, with relevant experience in dealing with Establishment & Administrative Matters

For Joint Director

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Minimum 10 years of work experience in Academics, Personnel and General Administration
  
  
• Candidates, who have Diploma / Degree in Management from a reputed Institute, will be preferred.
  
  
• Deputation Basis: Should be an Officer of the Central Govt. / State Govt. / UT / Autonomous Organization / PSUs, and hold analogous post on regular basis in their service / department or minimum 5 years of regular service in PB-3, Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs.6600, with relevant experience in dealing with Establishment & Administrative Matters
  
  
• Candidates should be above the age of 35 years and below the age of 50 years. 

Application Fee

• Rs.1000: General / OBC candidates
• Rs.500: SC / ST / PH candidates

• For paying the application fees, candidates should obtain a DD for Rs.1000 / Rs.500, drawn in favor of National Institute of Fashion Technology, payable at New Delhi.
  
  
• Candidates should mention their name, address and post applied for on the reverse side of the DD.
  
  
• Application Form, duly complete in all respect, along with recent passport size photograph, DD, ACRs & Vigilance / Cadre Clearance for last 5 years, and copies of all relevant documents, should be submitted to:
