Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following posts:

Professor (Epidemiology): 01 Post

Eligibility Conditions

For Professor (Epidemiology)

Medical qualification included in the first or the second schedule or part II of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in section 13(3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
Postgraduate degree such as MD (CHA) / MD (PSM) / MD (Community Medicine) or an equivalent degree of a recognised university / institute.
Four years experience as Reader/Associate Professor in the subject concerned in a Medical College or in an equivalent grade in a research/training institution. iv). Evidence of published work of high quality during the last 4 years.

For Assistant Professor (Statistics & Demography)

Good academic record with at least 50% marks in Masters degree in Statistics or Demography or Mathematics with Statistics from a recognised university / institution.
A doctoral degree in any branch of Statistics / Demography / Mathematics with Statistics from a recognised university / institute.

For Assistant Professor (RBM-Clinic)

Medical qualification included in the first or the second schedule or part II of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in section 13(3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
Postgraduate degree in Surgery / Medicine / Obst. & Gynae or equivalent degree.
At least 3 years teaching / training / research experience as Demonstrator / Tutor / Registrar / Resident in the Medicine, Surgery Obst. / Gynae.

For Assistant Professor (Print Media)

Good academic record with at least 50% marks in Masters degree in the subject communication / Mass communication / Journalism etc.
A doctoral degree in communication/any branch of Health Communication and Extension Education.

For Assistant Professor (P&E)

Good academic record with at least 50% marks in Masters degree in Public Administration / Management Sciences / Sociology / Social Work.
A doctoral degree in Public Administration / Management Sciences / Sociology / Social Work.

For Assistant Professor (Sociology)

Good academic record with at least 50% marks in Masters degree in Sociology.
A doctoral degree in any branch of Sociology.

For Medical Officer (Male) (Reproductive Bio-Medicine)

A recognised medical qualification in the first or the second schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub section (3) of 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
One years house job in Paediatrics / Obstetrics and Gynaecology / Medicine / Maternal & Child Health Care Surgery.

Crossed Indian Postal Order / DD of Rs.500 in favour of Director, National Institute of Health and Family Welfare., New Delhi payable at New Delhi. No fee for Women, SC/ST, Physically handicapped and the departmental candidates.
