Applications are invited from eligible and proficient candidates for the post of Senior Research Fellow. 

Note

• Candidate’s appointment is to be done for the research project titled “Neurobehavioral Changes in Rats Treated with Methyl Mercury at Gestational Stage of Fetal Development”, sponsored by ICMR at NIOH, Ahmedabad. Candidates’ recruitment is to be done on ad-hoc, temporary and contractual basis, till a period of completion of project. 

• Selection of the candidates is to be done on the basis of Walk-in Interview. The interview is scheduled to be held on 7^th Jun, 2013, at National Institute of Occupational Health, Meghaninagar, Ahmedabad - 380016, from 10.30 am onwards. Eligibility Conditions

• M.Sc Degree in Neurosciences / Life Sciences / Medical Physiology / Zoology / Biochemistry or its equivalent PG Degree with good academic record from a recognized University
  
  
• Minimum two years of research experience in the relevant field
  
  
• Animal experience in the field of Developmental Neurotoxicity, Behavioral and Neurosciences is desirable.
  
  
• Should have expertise in Operating Animal Behavioral Assessing Instruments
  
  
• Should have done Computer Monitory / Supervisory Laboratory Work
  
  
• Candidate, who have passed National written test like UGC - CSIR / NET / ICMR for JRF or Lectureship, with 2 years research experience in the field, will be preferred.
  
  
• Candidates should be below the age of 35 years (Age relaxation for SC / ST / PBC / PH candidates provided as per government norms).

• Candidates appearing for the interview should bring their detailed Bio-data, along with recent passport-size photograph, and Original & attested photocopies of all relevant certificates / documents, with them.
