Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programmmme for 2014-15.

• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Economics
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in English
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Chemistry
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Mathematics
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Physics 

Eligibility Conditions

• Master’s degree in Sciences or Humanities/ M.Tech in the relevant area with a minimum 6.5 CGPA or 60% in both bachelors and masters level from a recognized institute or university (minimum 6.0 CGPA or 55% marks for SC/ST candidates).

• Application forms duly filled in must contain a DD of Rs.500/- for general/OBC and Rs.300/- for SC/ST candidates.
  
  
• The DD should be drawn in favour of "Director NIT Goa" payable at Ponda, Goa and should reach NIT Goa 403401.

Selection Procedure

• Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the interview conducted by the institute. 

Important Dates

• Last date for completed application form: 22^nd Dec, 2014.
• Date of interview: 2^nd Jan, 2015.
• Date of declaration of result: 5^th Jan, 2015.
