Applications are invited from skilled and qualified candidates for the post of Registrar.

Note

• The appointment is to be done on contract / deputation basis for a period of 5 years.
• Candidates’ selection will be done on the basis of their performance in the academic qualification, work experience, and personal interview.

Eligibility Conditions

• Master’s Degree in Management / Engineering / Law with minimum 60% marks or its equivalent grade from a recognized University / Institute Or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 1st class or its equivalent grade from a recognized University / Institute
• Minimum 15 years of working experience as Officer in technical management / administrative / academic including Educational Administration / R&D Institution / Central / State Govt./ PSU, out of which minimum 5 years should be as Deputy Registrar in GP of Rs 8700 or its equivalent post
• Should have experience in handling computerized Administration / Legal / Financial / Establishment Matters
• Candidates should be below the age of 57 years

• Rs 300/- General / OBC candidates
• Rs 150/-SC / ST candidates

• For paying the application form, candidates should obtain a DD for Rs 300 / Rs 150, drawn in the favor of National Institute of Technology, Meghalaya, payable at Shillong.
• Application form, neatly typed in the prescribed format on plain paper, duly complete in all respect, along with a self-attested passport size photograph, DD, and photocopies of all relevant certificates / documents, should be submitted to The Director, NIT Meghalaya, Meghalaya State Technical Education Council Building, Laitumkhrah, Shillong (Meghalaya) - 793003, by post.
• Candidates should mention “Application for the Post of __________”, on the envelope in which the form would be sent.
