Applications are invited from eligible and experienced candidates for various Faculty Posts, for the following positions:

• Professor ((ECE / CSE / EEE / Mechanical / Civil)
• Associate Professor (ECE / CSE / EEE / Mechanical / Civil)
• Assistant Professor (ECE / CSE / EEE / Mechanical / Civil / Mathematics / Physics / Chemistry)
• Assistant Professor (on Contract Basis) (ECE / CSE / EEE / Mechanical / Civil / Mathematics / Physics / Chemistry) 

Note

• Candidates’ appointment is to be done on permanent / contract / deputation basis. Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the academics, work experience, and personal interview. Candidates short-listed in the initial screening will be called for the interview. • Required qualification as per organization norms 

Application Fee: Rs.500 (Exempted for SC / ST / PWD candidates)

• For paying the application form, candidates should obtain a DD for Rs.500, drawn from any nationalized bank, in favor of National Institute of Technology, Meghalaya, payable at Shillong.
  
  
• Candidates should mention their name, address and post applied for on the reverse side of the DD.
  
  
• Application Form, duly complete in all respect, along with the DD and photocopies of all relevant certificates / documents, should be submitted to:

  Shillong (Meghalaya) – 793003                                         by post on or before 30^th Apr, 2013.
  
  
• Candidates should mention “Application for the Post of __________ & Department of __________” on the envelope in which the form would be sent.
  
  
• Candidates applying for various posts / department should apply with separate application form and fees for each post.
