Applications are invited from eligible and skillful SC / ST / OBC / PWD candidates, under special recruitment drive February 2013, for the posts of Assistant Professor for the following departments:

• Civil Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Electronics & Communication Engineering
• Computer Science & Engineering
• Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering
• Mathematics
• Physics
• Chemistry
• Humanities 

Note

• Candidates’ appointment is to be done on regular / contract basis. Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in academics, work experience and Interview. Only short-listed candidates will be called for the Interview. The interview schedule will be intimated to all short-listed candidates through call letter. Eligibility Conditions

For Assistant Professor (Regular Basis)

• PhD Degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Should have published one research paper in an SCI Journal
  
  
• Should have published two SCI Journal papers or one Patent based on PhD work
  
  
• Candidates should be below the age of 35 years.

For Assistant Professor (Contract Basis)

• M.Tech Degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Should be working on the advanced state of PhD work in a reputed Institute
  
  
• Candidates should be below the age of 30 years. 

Application Fee

• For Male candidates: Rs.300 (OBC) and Rs.150 (SC/ST/PWD)
• For Female candidates: Rs.150 (OBC) and Rs.75 (SC/ST/PWD)
