Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into full time Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) and full time & part time Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programs in following disciplines for spring session 2015.

• Civil Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Electronics & Communication Engineering
• Metallurgy & Materials Engineering
• Chemical Engineering
• Computer Science & Engineering

Eligibility Conditions

• Master’s degree in relevant field of Engineering with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 or not less than 60% marks at master’s level or any other equivalent qualification recognized by the institute.

  along with the necessary demand draft for Rs:400/- (in case of SC/ST candidates Rs:200/-) drawn in favour of Director, NIT Srinagar.

Selection Procedure

• Selection will be based on the basis of their performance in the written test and interview conducted by the institute.

Important Dates

• Last date for completed application form: 12^th Dec, 2014.
• Declaration of shortlist to candidates: 3^rd Mar, 2015.
• Date of test/interview: 5^th Mar, 2015.
