Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following positions:

• Research Associate
• Senior Research Fellow (SRF) 

Note

• Appointment of the candidates is to be done on temporary basis till a period of completion of the project. The recruitment is to be done for the project titled National Initiative on Climate Resilient Agriculture - Assessment of Carbon Sequestration Potential of Selected Agroforestry System. 

• Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of Walk-in-Interview.

Eligibility Conditions

For Research Associate

• Doctorate Degree in Geoinformatics / GIS & Remote Sensing or M Sc / M Tech Degree in GIS & Remote Sensing / Geoinformatics with 1st class division from a recognized University with minimum 2 years of research experience in the relevant field
        Or
  Doctorate Degree in Forestry / Agroforestry / Botany or M Sc / M Tech Degree in Forestry / Agroforestry / Botany with 1^st class division from a recognized University with minimum 2 years of research experience in the relevant field
  
  
• Good knowledge of Arcinfo & ERDAS Imagine Software is desirable.
  
  
• Candidates should be below the age of 40 years (Male candidates) or 45 years (Women candidates).

For Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

• Master's Degree in Plant Physiology / Biochemistry with 1st class division from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Good knowledge of using Modern Tools and Techniques for Plant Physiology Research and have evidence of it as a published research papers / documents
  
  
• Should have ability to assist in Research work and in the conduct of field work
  
  
• Good working knowledge of Computer Applications
  
  
• Candidates should be below the age of 35 years (Male candidates) or 40 years (Women candidates). 

How to Apply

• Candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria and are willing to apply, can appear for the Walk-in-Interview.
  
  
• The interview is scheduled to be held on  18^th Jun, 2012, at National Research Centre for Agroforestry, Near Pahuj Dam, Gwalior Road, Jhansi (Uttar Pradesh) - 284003, from 11.00 am onwards.
  
  
• Candidates should bring their application with detailed Bio-data with one passport-size photograph and Original & attested photocopies of all relevant certificates / documents, along with them.
