Eligibility Conditions

Master’s Degree in Botany or Agriculture withspecialization in Plant Breeding / Genetics / Agronomy / Horticulture with minimum 2nd class division from a recognized University / Institute
Minimum 15 years of supervisory experience in Agricultural Field, out of which minimum 10 years of supervisory experience in the work relating to production of quality seeds
PhD Degree in Plant Breeding / Genetics / Agronomy / Plant Pathology from a recognized University / Institute is desirable.
Candidates having administrative experience in Management of Agricultural Farms / Seed Production will be preferred.
Good working knowledge of Agricultural Programmes and Agro Climatic condition in different parts of the country
Candidates should be below the age of 50 years (Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC / PH candidates as per government norms)
