Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programs for 2014.

• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Agriculture and Environmental Sciences
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Basics & Applies Sciences
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Food Engineering
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Food Business Management & Entrepreneurship
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Food Science and Technology

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates should have a master’s degree in a relevant discipline with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
• Preference will be given to NET/GATE qualified candidates.

• The application must also carry a non-refundable application fee, to be paid through DD or online through debit and credit card, of Rs.250 for general and Rs.125 for SC/ST.

Selection Procedure

• Selection of candidates will be based on the performance in their written test and interview conducted by the institute.

Important Dates

• Last date of submission of filled in application form: 30^th May, 2014.
• Date of written test: 10^th Jun, 2014.
• Date of interview: 11^th Jun, 2014.
