The National Institute of Technology (NIT ), Goa has invited applications for admission to its Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programme offered in Humanities and Sciences disciplines, for the academic session - 2014.
Eligibility Conditions
The candidate should possess a Master's Degree in Sciences or Humanities/M.Tech in the relevant area with a minimum 6.5 CGPA or 60 per cent marks in both Bachelor's and Master's levels from recognised institute or university (minimum 6.0 CGPA or 55 per cent marks for SC/ST candidates).

Selection process:
The candidates will be selected for admission for the said course on the basis of their overall academic performance and their performance in the interview conducted by the institute.

The candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 500/- (Rs 300/- for SC/ST) through a crossed DD drawn in favour of Director NIT Goa payable at Ponda, Goa.
