Applications are invited from knowledgeable and experienced professionals, for the following positions in various departments:

• Senior Resident Doctors (Anesthesiology / Anatomy / Biochemistry / Cardiology / Community Medicine / CTVS / General Surgery / Microbiology / Neurology / Obstetric & Gynaecology / Ophthalmology / Orthopaedics / Paediatrics / Pathology / Radiodiagnosis / Radiotherapy / Urology / Dermatology / General Medicine)
• Junior Resident Doctors 

Note

• Candidates’ appointment is to be done on contract basis for a period of three years (Sr Resident Doctor), and for one year (Jr Resident Doctor). Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of Walk-in Interview. The interview is scheduled to be held on 21^st May, 2013. 

• The interview will be held in the Administrative Block, NEIGRIHMS, Permanent Campus, Mawdiangdiang, Shillong - 793018, from 11.00 am onwards. For complete details regarding recruitment and process of applying, candidates can visit the official website of NEIGRIHMS: http://neigrihms.nic.in/ 

Eligibility Conditions

For Senior Resident Doctors

• Postgraduate Degree / Diploma in respective subject recognized by MCI after obtaining a medical qualification included in the Schedule - I & II of the 3rd Schedule of Indian Medical Council Act,1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in the part - II of the 3rd schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in section 13 (B) of the Act).
  
  
• Must have completed compulsory internship / houseman ship in a recognized hospital
  
  
• Must have registered with the State Medical Council / Medical Council of India
  
  
• Candidates, who have experience in the respective discipline / subject, will be preferred.
  
  
• Candidates should be below the age of 33 years.

For Junior Resident Doctors

• Must have medical qualification included in the Schedule - I & II of the 3rd Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in the part - II of the 3rd schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in section 13 (B) of the Act)
  
  
• Must have completed compulsory internship
  
  
• Must have registered with the Central / State Medical Council
  
  
• Candidates should be below the age of 30 years. 

How to Apply

• Candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria and willing to apply, can appear for the Walk-in Interview.
  
  
• The interview is scheduled to be held on 21^st May, 2013, in the Administrative Block, NEIGRIHMS, Permanent Campus, Mawdiangdiang, Shillong - 793018, from 11.00 am onwards.
  
  
• Candidates should bring their application in the prescribed format, along with latest passport size photograph, and attested copies of all relevant certificates, with them.
