- Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in written examination and personal interview. Candidates qualified in the written examination will be called for the interview. The examination schedule and centre address will be intimated to all candidates.

Eligibility Conditions
For Technician (Trainee) (Fitter Trade / Electrician Trade / Machinist Trade / Turner Trade / Welder Trade / Auto Electrician / Motor Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic)
- Matriculate qualification from a recognized Board / School
- ITI Certificates in Fitter Trade / Electrician Trade / Machinist Trade / Turner Trade / Welder Trade / Auto Electrician Trade / Motor Mechanic Trade / Diesel Mechanic Trade from a recognized Institute
- Must have completed Apprenticeship Training under Apprenticeship Act 1961
For Junior Overman (T&S) (Grade C)
- Three years of Diploma in Mining Engineering from a recognized Institute
- Should have Valid Gas Testing Certificate, Valid First Aid Certificate and Overman Certificate of competency granted by DGMS
For Assistant Foreman (Trainee) (Mechanical)
- Three years of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institute
For Staff Nurse (T&S) (Grade C)
- Passed 10+2 from a recognized Board
- 'A' Grade Nursing Diploma / Certificate from a recognized Institute approved by the Government
For Assistant Security Sub Inspector (Grade D)
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized Institute
- Must be an Ex-Army / Ex-BSF Personnel / NCC B & C Certificate Holder / Sportsman of All India Repute
For Security Guard (Grade G)
- Passed Matriculate from a recognized Board / School
- Must be an Ex-Army / Ex-BSF Personnel / NCC B & C Certificate Holder / Sportsman of All India Repute

- Application form, duly complete in all respect, along with two attested (by Gazetted officer) passport-size photographs and attested (by Gazetted officer) photocopies of all certificates, should be submitted to the Post Box No. 12006, Cossipore Post Office, Kolkata (West Bengal) - 700002, by ordinary post on or before 21st Jul, 2012.
- Candidates should mention “The Application for the Post of _______, NCL” in bold letters, on the envelope in which the form would be sent.
