University has invited applications from eligible candidates for recruitment 2011, for the post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF). The recruitment is to be done under NAIP (WB-GEF) sub-project titled “Strategies to enhance Adaptive Capacity to Climate Change in Vulnerable Regions” under Component-3B.

Note

• The post is purely contractual and the engagement / appointment can be terminated at any time without prior intimation or without assigning any reason thereof.
• The recruitment will be done for an initial period of one year and can be extended on satisfactory performance up to  31^st March, 2013 i.e. up to the end of the project period.
• Selection will be made through walk-in interview, which is scheduled to be held on  23^rd Dec, 2011 at 4.00 pm in the Committee Room of Directorate of Research, 2^nd floor, OUAT, Bhubaneswar.

Eligibility Conditions

• Should have obtained 1st class in M Sc in Agriculture / Agricultural Engineering / Veterinary & Animal Husbandry / Forestry / Fishery Sciences / Environmental Science / Life Science
• Candidates having Research / Farm experience with good knowledge on computer application will be preferred.
• Must have an aptitude to stay and work in study site in Ganjam District

Required Age

    Should not be more than 35 years as on  23^rd Dec, 2011

How to Apply

• Candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria and are willing to apply, are required to report for the walk-in interview on  23^rd Dec, 2011 at 11.30 am.
• However, the interview will be held at 4.00 pm in the Committee Room of Directorate of Research, 2nd floor, OUAT, Bhubaneswar.
• Candidates must bring along their application, CV, passport size photograph, with photocopy of all certificates justifying their qualifications and experience and related originals, on the day of interview.
