Applications are invited from eligible candidates by Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak for following full time post graduate courses 2012.

• MD
• MS
• PG Diploma
• MDS
• M.Ch/ DM

Eligibility Conditions

For MD/MS/PG Diploma, MDS

• Candidates who have (i) passed MBBS/BDS examinations recognized from Pt. B.D. Sharma PGIMS Rohtak/ M.D. University, Rohtak or any other university recognized and are bona fide residents of Haryana (ii) completed or will complete their internship on or before March 30. The HCMS doctors fulfilling Government conditions are also eligible to appear in the test.

For M.Ch.

• Candidates who have passed MS in General Surgery from Pt. B.D. Sharma PGIMS Rohtak/ M.D. University, Rohtak or any other university recognized for this purpose.

 For DM in Pulmonary Medicine

• Candidates who have passed MD(General Medicine), MD(Pediatrics), MD(Resp. Medicine) examinations fromPt. B.D. Sharma PGIMS Rohtak/ M.D. University, Rohtak or any other university recognized for this purpose.

Note

The candidates possessing DNB qualification in concerned specialty is also eligible for admission to super specialty i.e. M.Ch/D.M.

How to apply

• Candidates can obtain the application form from HDFC Bank, Model Town, and Rohtak or from   the controller of finance, Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, on cash payment of Rs.2000 (inclusive of Examination Fee) at the counter.
• Candidates can get the same through Registered Post by sending requisition letter (indicating prospectus for entrance examination of MD / MS / PG Diploma, MDS & M Ch / DM Courses for the session 2012) along with a Bank Draft for Rs 2050/-, drawn in favor of “Controller of Finance, Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak” payable at State Bank of India, Rohtak.
• Candidates have to submit the application form along with requisite documents (details mentioned in the prospectus) should be sent to the controller of examinations, Pt B D Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, latest by February 10, 2012 (up to 5.00 pm).
  

Selection Procedure

Selection of candidates is done on the basis of merit as determined by a Competitive Entrance Test conducted by university.

Important Dates

• Last date of receipt of submitting application form:  Friday,  10^th Feb, 2012
• The test of eligible candidates will be held on Sunday,  3^rd March, 2012
