Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of 108 junior Assistant, lab assistant and various vacancies. Apply before 25^th Jan, 2016. 

Total No. of Posts:- 108 Posts 

• Name of post: Junior Assistant, Lab Assistant
• Eligibility: Under – Graduation Degree, Degree
• Job Location: Tamil Nadu
• Pay Scale: Rs. 5200 – 20200/- Per Month
• Last Date- 25^th Jan, 2016 

Junior Assistant:- 49 Posts 

• Qualification: Candidates applying for the position of junior assistant should have under – graduation Degree from a recognized university / institute / college.
• Pay Scale: Rs 5200 – 20200/- Per Month
• Age Limit: The age of the candidate applying for the position of junior assistant should be 40 years. 

Lab Assistant: 22 Posts 

• Qualification: Candidates applying for the position of lab assistant should have passed degree with 55% marks examination in the discipline concerned from a recognized university / institute / college.
• Pay Scale: Rs 5200 – 20200/- Per Month
• Age Limit: The age of the candidate applying for the position of lab assistant should be 40 years. 

Selection Procedure

• The selection of the candidates will be based on the basis of written examination and personal interview depending on the number of applications received. 

Age Relaxation

The upper age of the candidates in relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below:-

• By 5 years for candidates belonging to ST communities.
• By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC communities.
• By 5 years for candidates belonging to PH communities. 

Application fee

• Candidates are required to pay application fee Rs. 500/- for candidates and Rs. 250/- for Schedule caste categories candidates / Schedule tribe categories candidates / Person with disabilities categories candidates through demand draft in the favor of Registrar, Periyar University.
