Applications are invited from qualified and skilled candidates for various posts in NOFN Project (Orissa)  for the following positions:

• Field Engineers (FE)
• Field Supervisors (FS)

Note

• Candidates’ appointment is to be done purely on temporary contract basis, for a period of two years or till the completion of project, whichever is earlier. Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of Screening Test (if required) and Personal Interview. Candidates short-listed in the initial screening will be called for the test / interview.

Eligibility Conditions 

For Field Engineers

• BE / B.Tech / B.Sc (Engineering) or AMIE in Electronics and Communication discipline with minimum 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Minimum one year of post qualification experience in Design, Engineering of Optical Fibre Network, with adequate experience of Construction, Testing and Commissioning, Operation, and maintenance activities of Optical Fibre network System (SDH/DWDM/G-PON/MPLS, etc.)
  
  
• Candidates, who have work experience in PSU / Listed Company, in Telecom sector, will be preferred.

For Field Supervisors

• Diploma in Engineering in Electronics and Communication Discipline with minimum 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized Technical Board / Institute
  
  
• Minimum one year of post qualification experience in Construction, Testing and Commissioning, Operation, and maintenance activities of Optical Fibre Network System (SDH/DWDM/G-PON/MPLS, etc.)
  
  
• Candidates, who have work experience in PSU / Listed Company, in Telecom sector, will be preferred. 

Age Limit

• Candidates should be above the age of 18 years and below the age of 29 years.
• Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC / PWD candidates provided as per organization norms 

Application Fee

• Rs.200: Field Engineers
• Rs.100: Field Supervisors
• Exempted for SC / ST / PWD / EXS candidates

• For paying the application fees, candidates should obtain a DD for Rs.200 / Rs.100, drawn from State Bank of India, in favor of Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd., payable at Kolkata.
  
  
• Candidates should mention their name and address on the reverse side of the DD.
  
  
• Application Form, duly complete in all respect, along with affixed passport size photograph, DD and attested copies of all required documents / certificates, should be submitted to:
