Applications are invited from skillful and capable candidates for for various posts in National Optical Fibre Network (NOFN) Project of SRTS-I for the following positions:

• Field Engineers (CFE)
• Field Supervisors (CFS) 

Note

• Candidates’ appointment is to be done purely on temporary contractual basis, for a period of two years or till the completion of project, whichever is earlier. Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of Personal Interview. Candidates short-listed in the initial screening on the basis of academics and work experience will be called for the Interview.

Eligibility Conditions 

For Field Engineers

• BE / B.Tech / B.Sc (Engg) / AMIE Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering discipline with minimum 55% marks in aggregate from recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Minimum one year of post qualification experience in design / engineering of Optical Fibre Network, with adequate experience of Construction, Testing & Commissioning, Operation & Maintenance, and activities of Optical Fibre Network System (SDH / DWDM / G-PON / MPLS, etc.)
  
  
• Candidates, who have work experience in PSU / Listed Company particularly in Telecom Sector, will be preferred.

For Field Supervisors

• Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering with minimum 55% marks in aggregate from recognized Technical Board / Institute
  
  
• Minimum one year of post qualification experience in Construction, Testing & Commissioning, Operation & Maintenance, and activities of Optical Fibre Network System (SDH / DWDM / G-PON / MPLS etc)
  
  
• Candidates, who have work experience in PSU / Listed Company particularly in Telecom Sector, will be preferred.

Age Limit

• Candidates should be below the age of 29 years.
• Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC / PWD candidates provided as per organization norms. 

Application Fee

• Rs.200: Field Engineers
• Rs.100: Field Supervisors
• Exempted for SC / ST / PWD / EXS candidates

• For paying the application fees, candidates should obtain a DD for Rs.200 / Rs.100, drawn from State Bank of Hyderabad, in favor of Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd., payable at Hyderabad.
  
  
• Candidates should mention their name and address on the reverse side of the DD.
  
  
• Application Form, duly complete in all respect, along with affixed passport size photograph, DD, and attested copies of all required documents / certificates, should be submitted to:
