Applications are invited from well-qualified and talented candidates for the posts of Stipendiary Trainees (Category I & II for the following positions:

• Category I
  • Physics
  • Mechanical
  • Electronics / Instrumentation
  • Electrical
• Category II
  • Electronics / Instrumentation
  • Fitter
  • Electrical 

Note

• Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis their performance in the written test, followed by personal interview. Candidates short-listed on the basis of written test will be called for the interview.

Eligibility Conditions 

For Category I (Physics, Mechanical, Electronics / Instrumentation & Electrical)

• B Sc Degree (Physics as principal and Mathematics / Chemistry / Statistics / Electronics / Computer Science as subsidiary subjects) with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University
        Or
  Diploma / Licentiate in Mechanical Engineering or Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering or Electrical Engineering with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University

For Category II (Electronics / Instrumentation, Fitter & Electrical)

• SSC / HSC qualification with Science & Mathematics with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board / School
  
  
• Two years of ITI / NCVT Certificate in Instrumentation / Electronics / Fitter / Electrical from a reputed Institute
       Or
  One year of ITI Certificate in the relevant discipline with minimum one year of working experience in the relevant trade 

Required Age

• 19-24 years: Category I
• 18-22 years: Category II
• Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC candidates provided as per government norms
