Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into its PhD programme in specialized areas of Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences.

Eligibility Conditions

For Physics candidates

• M.Sc. degree in Physics with a minimum of 60% overall marks, and who have cleared Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST 2014) and/or CSIR-UGC NET in June/December 2013

For Chemistry and Life Sciences candidates

• M.Sc. degree with minimum 60% overall marks, in Chemistry or Life Sciences, and who have cleared joint CSIR-UGC Net in June/ December 2013 are eligible to apply. Candidates with M.Sc. in Botany /Agricultural Science should not apply.
