Age Limit

• The age of the candidate should be 37 years. The age of the applicant should be as on 4th April 2016. 

Qualification

• M.Sc. (Master of science) in physics / applied physics from recognized university / board of technical education / institution of Central or state government with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. Applicant should have physics and mathematics up to B.Sc. or at subsidiary and / or ancillary level in case of five year integrated M.Sc. with minimum of 60% aggregate marks in M.Sc. as well as B.Sc.
                                                             OR
  BE / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engineering) / five year integrated M.Tech with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in electronics / electronics and instrumentation / electronics / electronics and telecommunication engineering from a recognized university / board of technical education / institution of Central or state government. 

Selection Procedure

• The selection of the candidates will be on the basis of written examination and personal interview depending on the number of applications received. 

Age Relaxation

The upper age of the candidates in relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below:-

• By 5 years for candidates belonging to ST communities.
• By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC communities.
• By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.
