The Reliance Foundation has offered scholarships to 393 students including 111 differently-abled to promote them to pursue their undergraduate studies on 22 Jan,  2014.

The Dhirubhai Ambani Scholarship Programme has awarded nearly 10,000 scholarships since its inception in 1996.

The student who received scholarship belonged to remote areas from across the country such as J&K, Nagaland, Manipur, Meghalaya, Lakshadweep etc.

Initially started in 1996 in the states of Maharashtra and Gujarat these were extended to entire country in 2009 onwards.

Every year, the scholarship programme helps meritorious students to follow their dreams through higher studies in diverse disciplines including medicine, engineering, law, science and other social sciences. The scholarship aid supports tuition fees and other allowances for the entire duration of the academic coursework.
