Applications are invited from eligible and proficient Indian professionals for the posts in Para Veterinary Cadre for the following positions:

• Head Constable (Veterinary)
• Constable (Veterinary) 

Note

• Appointment of the candidates is to be done on temporary but likely to be permanent. Selection of the candidates is to be done on the basis of Documentation, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Examination, Final Medical Examination and Review Medical Examination.

Eligibility Conditions 

For Head Constable (Veterinary)

• Passed Intermediate (10+2) Science Examination with Biology as main subject from a recognized Board / University
  
  
• Minimum one year of work experience in treatment of different species of Animals in a recognized Veterinary Hospital

For Constable (Veterinary)

• Passed Matriculation Examination with Science subject from a recognized Board / University
  
  
• Minimum one year of work experience in treatment of different species of Animals in a recognized Veterinary Hospital 

Required Age

• 18-25 years: Head Constable (Veterinary)
• 18-23 years: Constable (Veterinary)
• Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC / EXS candidates provided as per government norms 

Application Fee: Rs.50 (Exemption SC / ST / EXS / Female candidates)

• For paying the application fees, candidates should obtain a DD for Rs.50 drawn in favor of Accounts Officer, FTR HQ SSB, Siliguri, payable at SBI Branch, Siliguri Branch Code - 0184 or can obtain IPO in favor of Accounts Officer, FTR HQ SSB, Siliguri (West Bengal).
  
  
• Application form, duly complete in all respect, along with the DD / IPO, two attested passport size photographs (affixed on application form & admit card), two self-addressed envelope (size 4 x 9 inches) with affixed stamp of Rs.25 on each, attested copies of all relevant certificates / documents, should be submitted to:
