Applications are invited from well-educated and experienced Indian professionals for faculty posts for the following positions:

• Professor
• Associate Professor
• Assistant Professor

Note

• Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of written test / personal interview. Only short-listed candidates will be called for the test / interview by the selection committee. The schedule of test / interview will be intimated to all short-listed candidates.

Eligibility Conditions

For Professor

• Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Architecture / Planning / Engineering / Technology or its related discipline with 1^st class division with PhD Degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Minimum 10 years of teaching / research / industry experience, out of which minimum 5 years of working experience should be on the position of Associate Professor
  
  
• Should have published high quality of work as books / research / policy papers

For Associate Professor

• Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Architecture / Planning / Engineering / Technology or its related discipline with 1st class division or minimum 60% marks in aggregate with PhD Degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Minimum 5 years (with PhD Degree) or 8 years (without PhD Degree) of teaching experience on the position of Assistant Professor / Lecturer in University / College
  
  
• Should have published high quality of work as books / research / policy papers

For Assistant Professor

• Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Architecture / Engineering / Technology / Fine Arts or its related discipline with 1st class division or minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Minimum one year of teaching / research / industry experience in the relevant field

• Rs.50 Application form
• Rs.500 Application fees
• Exempted for SC / ST / PH candidates

• Candidates can also obtain the application form in-person from the Institute Campus in the reverse payment of Rs.50 or by sending a request with self-addressed envelope (30 cm x 25 cm) and DD for Rs.50, to the Assistant Registrar, School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada.
  
  
• For paying the application fees, candidates should obtain a DD for Rs.50 / Rs.500 drawn in favor of School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada, payable at Vijayawada.
  
  
• Application form, duly complete in all respect, along with a passport-size photograph, DD, self-attested copies of all certificates / documents and three references, should be submitted to The Registrar, School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada, S.No.71 / 1, NH-5, Nidamanuru, Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh) - 521104, by post on or before  29^th Jun, 2012 till 05.00 pm.
  
  
• Candidates should mention Application for the Faculty post of ____________ in ___________ Department, Post Serial No. ________ on the envelope in which the form would be sent.
