Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into 2nd semester Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programs in Agricultural Science, Basic Sciences and Biotechnology offered in various disciplines for 2013-14.

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates should have master's degree in respective/related subjects and have 6.50/10.00 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage (65%) of marks at master's degree for general category and 6.00/10.00 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage (60%) of marks at master's degree for SC/ST/PH category.

How to Apply

• The application on the prescribed forms along with attested copies of testimonials/marks certificates from matriculation onwards, accompanied by a bank draft for Rs.2000 (non-refundable) drawn in favor of comptroller, SKUAST-J payable at J&K Bank, Jammu must reach the office of registrar SKUAST of Jammu, main campus, Chatha on or before last date

Selection Procedure

• Selection for admission shall be made on the basis of academic merit and performance in the interview.
