Applications are invited from knowledgeable candidates for the posts of Dean and Faculty for the following positions:

Note

Appointment of candidates is to be done on temporary basis with two years of probation period, for a period of five years. Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of personal interview. Only short-listed candidates will be called for the interview.

Eligibility Conditions

Doctorate Degree in the concerned discipline from a recognized University
Master’s Degree in the concerned discipline from a recognized University / Institute
Minimum 15 years of teaching / research experience, out of which minimum 7 years of working experience should be on the rank of Professor or its equivalent
Should have evidence of academic management and leadership
Should have excellent achievements in teaching and have evidenced of good published work
Good knowledge of Modern Agricultural Educational System
Candidates should be above the age of 20 years and below the age of 55 years.

How to Apply

Willing candidates can obtain the application forms in-person, from the office of Registrar, SKUAST Kashmir, Shalimar -191121, Srinagar (Post Box No. 262, GPO, Srinagar - 190001), in the reverse payment of Rs.300 in the form of DD.
Candidates can also obtain the application form by post, by sending a request, along with the DD for Rs.300 and self-addressed envelope (10 cm x 3 cm) duly stamped, to the office of Registrar, SKUAST Kashmir, Shalimar -191121, Srinagar (Post Box No. 262, GPO, Srinagar - 190001), on or before 31^st May, 2012.
For paying the application fees, candidates can obtain a DD for Rs.300 / Rs.500, drawn in favor of Comptroller, SKUAST Kashmir, Shalimar (Srinagar) - 191121, payable at Srinagar.
Application form, duly completed in all respect, along with a DD of Rs.500 and attested copies of all required certificates & testimonials, should be submitted to The Registrar, Sher-e-Kashmir, University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Kashmir, Shalimar, Srinagar (Post Box No. 262, GPO, Srinagar - 190001), by speed / registered post on or before 8^th June, 2012.
Candidates should mention “Application for the Post of _________” on the envelope in which the form would be sent.
