Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of 16 village level worker (VLW) on temporary regular basis under food security and agriculture development department, government of Sikkim. Apply before 13^th Jun, 2016.

Eligibility: +2 class, diploma, degree in agriculture / horticulture

Pay Scale: Rs 5200 – 20200/- Per Month

Age Limit

The age of the candidate should have attained the age of 18 years but should not have exceed the age of 30 years. The age of the applicant should be as on 1st May 2016.

Qualification

Candidates should have passed +2 class examination board standard with bio-science OR passed +2 class examination board standard with subject of Agriculture / horticulture under vocational stream from a recognized board. The successful candidates have to undergo Diploma course in agriculture / horticulture science with-in three year of appointment / degree holders of agriculture / horticulture need not undergo the diploma course.

Selection Procedure

The selection of the candidates will be on the basis of written examination and personal interview depending on the number of applications received.

Age Relaxation

The upper age of the candidates in relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below:-

By 5 years for candidates belonging to ST communities.
By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC communities.
By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.

Application fee

Candidates are required to pay application fee Rs 150/- in bank receipt of state bank of Sikkim credited to 0051 – SPSC.
