Applications are invited from eligible and capable candidates for various posts for the following positions:

• Instructors - Electrician
• Instructor - Fitter
• Instructor - Welder
• Computer Science Instructor
• Maths Instructor
• Junior Section Officer
• Junior Accounts Officer
• Assistant Librarian
• Storekeeper
• PS Grade III
• Assistant 

Note

• Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of test / interview. Candidates short-listed on the basis of their performance in academic qualification and work experience will be called for the test / interview.
  
  
• The schedule of test / interview will be intimated to all short-listed candidates.

Eligibility Conditions

For Instructors (Electrician / Fitter / Welder)

• Passed Matric qualification with Maths & Science subjects from a recognized Board / School
  
  
• Degree / Diploma in Electrical  / Mechanical Engineering or Technology with 2nd class division from a recognized University / Institute with minimum 3 years of teaching experience in the relevant field
              Or   
  National Trade Certificate in Electrician / Fitter / Welder Trade from a reputed Institute with minimum 5 years of working experience in the industry or teaching experience in training / vocational Institute
  
  
• Good working knowledge of Marathi language is essential.

For Computer Science Instructor

• Passed Matric qualification with Maths & Science subjects from a recognized Board / School
  
  
• Degree / Diploma in Computer Engineering/Technology with 2nd class division from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in the relevant field
  
  
• Good working knowledge of Marathi language is essential.

For Maths Instructor

• Passed Matric qualification with Maths & Science subjects from a recognized Board / School
  
  
• Degree / Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 2nd class division from a recognized University / Institute with minimum 3 years of teaching experience in the relevant field
                     Or  
  Degree in Mathematics from a recognized University / Institute with minimum 3 years of teaching experience in the relevant field
  
  
• Good working knowledge of Marathi language is essential.

For Junior Section Officer

• Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent qualification from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Minimum 5 years of working experience as UDC / Assistant in the pay scale of 5200-20200 plus GP 2400 or its equivalent in Central / State Government Departments / Autonomous Bodies / Public Sector Undertakings
  
  
• Should have good knowledge of Administrative Rules and Regulations of Central / State Government
  
  
• Should have proficiency in Computer Applications
  
  
• Good working knowledge of Marathi language

For Junior Accounts Officer

• Bachelor’s Degree of Commerce or its equivalent qualification from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Minimum 5 years of working experience as Accountant / Accounts Assistant in the pay scale of 5200-20200 plus GP 2400 or its equivalent in Central / State Government Departments / Autonomous Bodies / Public Sector Undertakings
  
  
• Should have good knowledge of Commercial Accounting, and Rules & Regulations of Central / State Government
  
  
• Should have proficiency in Computer Applications
  
  
• Good working knowledge of Marathi language

For Assistant Librarian

• Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent qualification from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Diploma in Library Science from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Minimum 3 years of working experience of handling classification, cataloging, library software etc in Library
  
  
• Should have proficiency in Computer Applications
  
  
• Good working knowledge of Marathi language

For Storekeeper

• Degree or its equivalent qualification from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as Assistant Store Keeper
  
  
• Should have proficiency in Computer Applications
  
  
• Good working knowledge of Marathi language

For PS Grade III

• Matriculation or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board / Institute
  
  
• Should have minimum speed of 80 WPM in Shorthand (English) and minimum speed of 30 WPM in Typewriting (English)
  
  
• Should have proficiency in Computers Applications
  
  
• Good knowledge of Marathi language and have minimum Marathi typewriting speed of 30 WPM

For Assistant

• Matriculation or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board / Institute
  
  
• Should have minimum Typewriting speed of 30 WPM in English
  
  
• Should have proficiency in Computer Applications
  
  
• Good knowledge of Marathi language and have minimum Marathi typewriting speed of 30 WPM

• Rs.100 OBC / SC / ST candidates

• For paying the application fees, candidates can obtain a DD for Rs.200 / Rs.100, drawn in favor of Solapur Power Industrial Training Institute (SPITI), payable at Solapur.
  
  
• Application form typed on A4 Sheet, duly complete in all respect, along with attested (by Gazetted Officer) passport-size photograph, DD and attested photocopies of all relevant certificates, should be submitted to
