Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) and Doctor pf Philosophy (Ph.D) programs in following specializations for 2014-15.

• Economics
• Computer Science
• Life Science and Biotechnology
• Sociology
• International Relations
• Legal Studies
• Applied Mathematics

Eligibility Conditions

• For admission to M.Phil./Ph.D. level programs of study in SAU, a minimum 17 years of education (12 years of schooling + 3 year bachelor’s degree + 2 year master’s degree with prescribed percentage of marks as indicated below) is the minimum prescribed eligibility.
  
  
• For M.Phil./Ph.D. (Legal Studies) those who have done LL.B. followed by a one-year LL.M. degree with the prescribed 50% marks are also eligible.

How to Apply

• Application fee for appearing in the entrance test is US $ 10 or Indian Rs.600. Applicants, who can pay the application fee by credit/debit cards or Net Banking, have the option to apply online.
  
  
• For other applicants, there is an option to download the application form, fill it and mail it to SAU along with a bank-draft for US $10 or Indian Rs.600 drawn in favor of "South Asian University" payable at New Delhi.

Selection Procedure

• Selection will be made on the basis of entrance test conducted by the university.

• Last date of applications: 3^rd Mar, 2014 (Monday)
• Date of entrance test: 6^th Apr, 2014 (Sunday)
