Applications are invited from talented and proficient candidates for the posts of Act Apprentices, under Apprentice Act, 1961 for the following positions:
Table A: Central Workshops, Mysore South Quota
- Fitter
- Turner
- Machinist
- Welder
- Electrician
- Painter
- Programming and System Administration Assistant (PASAA)
Table B: Mysore Division South Western Railway Quota
- Fitter
- Welder (G&E)
- Electrician
- Programming and System Administration Assistant (PASAA)
- Stenographer
Table C: Bangalore Division South Western Railway Quota
- Fitter (Diesel Loco Shed)
- Electrician (Diesel Loco Shed)
- Electrician (Electrical Dept)
- Fitter (C&W Depot)
Candidates’ appointment will be done as Act Apprentice for the following divisions:
- Central Workshops, South Western Railway (Mysore South, Mysore - 570008)
- Mysore Division, South Western Railway, Mysore
- Bangalore Division, South Western Railway, Bangalore
Note
- Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of academics qualification, personal interview and medical examination. Candidates short-listed in the initial screening will be called for the interview. The interview schedule and centre address will be mentioned in the candidate’s call letter. Eligibility Conditions
- Passed Matriculation (Class 10) on 10+2 system or its equivalent from a recognized Board / School
- ITI Certificate in the relevant trade approved by NCVT / SCVT
- Candidates should be above the age of 15 years and below the age of 24 years (Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC / OC candidates provided as per organization norms).
