Applications are invited from eligible, capable and proficient candidates for various posts for the following positions in various disciplines:

Junior Scientific Officer

• Psychology
• Physiology
• Biochemistry
• Food & Nutrition
• Biomechanics
• Anthropometry
• Sports Medicine

Junior Scientific Assistant

• Psychology
• Physiology
• Biomechanics 

Note

• Candidate’s selection is to be done on the basis of Written Examination and Interview. Candidates qualified in the written examination will be called for the interview. The examination schedule and centre address will be mentioned in the candidate’s call letter. Eligibility Conditions

For Junior Scientific Officer

• M.Sc Degree in the relevant discipline with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute with two years of work, research, and teaching experience in the related subject. PhD Degree in the relevant discipline is desirable
                         Or
  MBBS Degree from a recognized Institute with one year of Internship in the relevant discipline, and Diploma in Sports Medicine from a recognized University / Institute. MD / MS Degree in the relevant discipline are desirable.
  
  
• Candidates should be below the age of 35 years.

For Junior Scientific Assistant

• B.Sc / BA Degree in the relevant discipline with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Candidates should be below the age of 25 years. 

Application Fee: Rs.500 (Exempted for SC / ST / PH / EXS candidates) 

How to Apply

• Candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria and are willing to apply, can download the application format from the official link of SAI: http://www.sportsauthorityofindia.nic.in/
  
  
• For paying the application fees, candidates should obtain a DD for Rs.500 drawn in favor of Secretary, Sports Authority of India, payable at New Delhi.
  
  
• Candidates should mention their name, father’s name, date of birth and contact number on the reverse side of the DD.
  
  
• Application Form neatly typed / printed on A4 paper, duly complete in all respect, along with the DD and attested copies of all relevant certificates / disciplines, should be submitted to:

• Candidates belonging to far-flung areas can send their application form latest by 7^th Nov, 2012 till 05.00 pm.
  
  
• Candidates should mention Application for the Post of__________ & Discipline________ on the envelope in which the form would be sent.
