Applications are invited from eligible candiates for admission into following programs for 2014.

• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Economics
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Nanotechnology
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Physics
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Chemistry
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Mathematics
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in English
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Sikh Studies
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Punjabi
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Environmental Science
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Physical Education

Eligibility Conditions

• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks o r 5.5 CGPA out of 10 (50% marks or equivalent CGPA for SC/ST candidates and differently abled persons who have at least 40% disability) of Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib or an equivalent degree of a recognized Indian or foreign university in the subject concerned or allied-subject.

How to Apply

• Prospectus and application form can be obtained from the university on payment of Rs.500 from 5^th May, 2014 or may be downloaded from university website.
  
  
• The completed application form along with the required application and entrance test fee and documents should be submitted in person or through registered post or speed post to the admission cell of the university.

Important Dates

• Availability of prospectus: 5^th May, 2014

Last date for submission of application form:

• Without late fees: 20^th Jun, 2014.
• With late fees of Rs.500/-: 27^th Jun, 2014.
• Declaration of list of candidates called for test/interview: 28^th May, 2014.
• Date of written test: 3^rd Jul, 2014.
• Declaration of result: 7^th Jul, 2014.
