Applications are invited from eligible and proficient Indian professionals for combined recruitment, in Prasar Bharati Examination 2013 for the following positions:

• Engineering Assistant
• Technician 

Note

• Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in Written Examination and Interview. The examination is scheduled to be held on 26^th May, 2013. The examination schedule and centre address will be mentioned in the candidates’ admit card. 

• Candidates can register online by visiting the official link of SSC: http://ssconline2.gov.in/. Online registration began from 23^rd Feb, 2013 and will close on 20^th Mar, 2013 (Part-I Registration) and on 22^nd Mar, 2013 (Part-II Registration). Eligibility Conditions

For Engineering Assistant

• Three years Diploma in Radio / Telecommunication / Electrical / Electronics / Information Technology / Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized University / Institute, with minimum one year of work experience in the related field
                                         Or
  Bachelor’s Degree with Physics as one of the subjects from a recognized University / Institute, with minimum one year of work experience in the related field
                                         Or
  Degree in Telecommunication / Electronics / Electrical / Information Technology / Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Good knowledge of Wireless Radio Engineering is desirable.
  
  
• Candidates should be below the age of 30 years.

For Technician

• Passed Class 10+2 from a recognized Board
  
  
• Two years of Diploma in Electronics / Telecommunication Engineering from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Candidates should be above the age of 18 years and below the age of 25 years.

Application Fee: Rs.200 (Exempted for SC / ST / PH / EXS / Female candidates) 

How to Apply

• Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official link of SSC: http://ssconline2.gov.in/
  
  
• The online registration will be in 2 parts i.e., Registration I & Registration II.
  
  
• Online registration began from 23^rd Feb, 2013 and will close on 20^th Mar, 2013 (Part-I Registration) and on 22^nd Mar, 2013 (Part-II Registration).
  
  
• After completion of the Part-I Registration, the system will generate a fee payment option i.e., Net Banking or Challan.
  
  
• Candidates can pay the application fee amount for Rs.200, through Challan in any branch of State Bank of India, or through SBI Debit / Credit card.
