Applications are invited from talented and qualified candidates for Junior Engineer Combined All India Open Examination 2013, for recruitment for the various disciplines in the following departments:

Central Public Works Department (CPWD)

• Junior Engineers (Civil)
• Junior Engineers (Electrical)

Department of Posts

• Junior Engineers (Electrical)

Military Engineering Service (MES)

• Junior Engineer (Civil)
• Junior Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical)
• Junior Engineer (Quantity Surveying & Contracts)

Central Water Commission (CWC) & Farakka Barrage

• Junior Engineer (Civil)
• Junior Engineer (Mechanical) 

Note

• Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of Written Examination, followed by Personal Interview. The written examination is scheduled to be held on 26^th May, 2013. The examination schedule and centre address will be mentioned in the candidates’ admit card. 

• The examination will be conducted at Delhi, Jaipur, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Chennai, Puducherry, Kolkata, Port Blair, Gangtok, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji, Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Patna, Lucknow, Guwahati (Dispur), Itanagar, Imphal, Shillong, Aizwal, Kohima, Agartala, Churachandpur, Bengaluru, Thiruvananthapuram, Kavaratti, Raipur, Bhopal, Jagdalpur, Chandigarh, Jammu, Srinagar (J&K), Shimla and Baramula centers. 

• Candidates can register online by visiting the official link of SSC: http://ssconline.nic.in/. Online registration began from 23^rd Feb, 2013 and will close on 20^th Mar, 2013 (Part-I Registration) and on 22^nd Mar, 2013 (Part-II Registration). Eligibility Conditions

• Required qualification as per organization norms 

Application Fee: Rs.100 (Exempted for SC / ST / PH / EXS / Female candidates) 

How to Apply

• Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official link of SSC: http://ssconline.nic.in/
  
  
• The online registration will be in 2 parts i.e., Registration Part-I & Registration Part-II.
  
  
• Online registration began from 23^rd Feb, 2013 and will close on 20^th Mar, 2013 (Part-I Registration) and on 22^nd Mar, 2013 (Part-II Registration).
  
  
• After completion of the Part-I Registration, the system will generate a fee payment option i.e., Net Banking or Challan.
  
  
• Candidates can pay the application fee amount for Rs.100, through Challan or Debit / Credit card.
  
  
• In Part-II Registration, candidates have to fill the fee payment details, and have to upload their scanned copies of passport size photograph and signature.
  
  
• After completing the Part-II Registration, the system will generate a complete application form, which candidates should print out and keep it with them for the future reference.
