Type: Employment Notices

All the eligible candidates are invited for the posts of consultants, for recruitment 2011. The recruitment of consultants is to be done specifically in the following sectors:

• Mining (Coal, Other Mining-Ores)
• Energy (Thermal Power, Hydroelectric, Solar, Wind)
• Fertilizers
• Metal
• Oil & Gas
• Steel
• Telecom
• Transport (Roads, Ports, Urban Transport)

Note

• Recruitment is to be done on contractual, non-exclusive, retainership basis for a period of 2 years.
• Candidates’ applications will be scrutinized by a Screening Committee at the Bank. However, only short-listed candidates will be invited for an interaction with the Selection Committee.
• Candidates are required to download the application in prescribed format made available on the Bank’s website:http://www.sbi.co.in/. For more details regarding recruitment and application form, candidates can visit the official website of SBI: http://www.sbi.co.in/.

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates must possess a Degree from IIT, Indian School of Mines, or other reputed engineering colleges.
• Candidates should be retired senior executives from PSUs or equivalent, not in full time employment of any company, and be able to maintain an arm’s length relationship with the company / group in respect of whose project(s), services of Consultants may be availed by the Bank.
• Candidates must have a minimum 25 years of experience and should have held senior positions like Executive Director, Director (Technical /Projects), Member (Technical) / Chief Engineer, Director / Head (Marketing) with technical background etc.

Required Age

    Candidates should not be more than 65 years (as on the date of application)

• Candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria and are willing to apply, can download the prescribed application form from the Bank’s official website: http://www.sbi.co.in/.
• Documents to be attached along with the prescribed application form are: Copies of degree, Copies of all professional qualification related certificates, Copies of relieving certificates for all the jobs mentioned in the application form, copies of professional engagement related certificates and references - at least two references must be provided as per details in the application form.
• The duly filled-in application form, along with the requisite documents (listed above), should be sent in an envelope superscribing: “Application For Consultants: Application Code - __” through Post/Courier to Deputy General Manager, State Bank of India, Project Finance SBU, Voltas House, 2nd floor, J N Heredia Marg, Ballard Estate, Fort, Mumbai - 400001, latest by December 17, 2011.
