Applications are invited in a prescribed form for admission to D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education) two year course at State Institute of Education (SIE) Sector 32, Chandigarh and Brahamrishi Yoga Training College (BYTC) Sector 19, Chandigarh.

Eligibility criteria: Graduation with 45% marks for General category & Graduation with 40% marks for SC/ST category.

The Prospectus cum Application Form may be obtained:

By hand (cash payment of Rs.100 only), available for sale at the following Institutes:

1. State Institute of Education, Sector  32-C, UT Chandigarh (Between 9:00 am - 5:00 pm from Monday to Friday)
2. Brahmrishi Yoga Training College, Sector 19-A, UT Chandigarh (Between 8:00 am - 1:30 pm from MOnday to Saturday)

By Registered Post (through Demand Draft of Rs.140 only.

Request for the prospectus by post should be addressed to: DIRECTOR, STATE INSTITUTE OF EDUCATION, SECTOR 32-C, UT CHANDIGARH-160031, along with a Demand Draft for the requisite amount, drawn in favour of Director, State Institute of Education, UT Chandigarh payable at CHANDIGARH (The candidate must write his/her particulars and address on the backside of the Demand Draft)

Last date for receipt of Application Form at State Institute of Education, Sector 32-C, UT Chandigarh (Both by hand and by post upto 5:00 pm):19-06-2012

Date and Time of Entrance Test:15-07-2012 (Sunday) from 10:00 am
