Symbiosis International University (SIU) offers research programs leading to the award of the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in all its following Faculties namely:

Law
Management
Computer Studies
Media, Communication and Design
Health and Biomedical Sciences
Humanities and Social Sciences
Engineering

Eligibility Conditions

Master's degree or equivalent in the relevant subject with 55% marks or equivalent CGPA from any University recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) in India (SC/ST candidates will get 5% relaxation in marks or equivalent CGPA).
In case of candidates holding a qualifying degree from a foreign university, registration for PhD will be confirmed after determination of equivalence by SIU.
Master's degree or equivalent in any subject with 55% marks and minimum of five years of work experience, in the area of interdisciplinary research in which admission is being sought.
M.Phil. with 55% marks or equivalent grade / CGPA.
Fellow members of the Chartered Accountants of India (CA) or Institute of Costs and Works of India (ICWA) or Company Secretary of India, CFA (USA) with 55% marks at graduation level and with 5 years of experience after graduation ( only for the Faculties of Law, Management and Humanities and Social Sciences).
