Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into its M.Sc in Economics (2 years full time) for the academic year 2018-19

Important Dates

• Last date for online registration: 4^th May, 2018
• Last date for receiving Demand Drafts: 10^th May, 2018
• List of students for PI-WAT: 15^th May, 2018
• Date for PI-WAT: 30th May – 5^th Jun,  2018
• First Merit list: 10^th Jun,  2018
• Last Date for 1st merit list payments: 19^th Jun, 2018
• Second Merit list: 20^th Jun, 2018
• Last Date for 2nd merit list payments: 27^th Jun, 2018
• Commencement of the M.Sc Program: 06^th Jul, 2018 

Eligibility Conditions

• Any graduate with exposure to Economics/Mathematics/Statistics/Physics 

• B.Tech and B.E. graduates may also apply. Graduates from any statutory university with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST) at graduation level
• Students appearing for final year examinations can apply but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST) at qualifying examination 

Reservation of seats:

The following will be reservation rules that shall be followed while admitting Indian Students

• SC-15%,
• ST-7.5%,
• Differently abled 03%,
• Kashmiri migrants 02 over and above program intake
• Policy of admission against vacant seats under reserved category 

In case some seats remain vacant due to the non availability of suitable candidates in the category of reservations then the information about the vacant seats will be reported to Symbiosis International University 

Selection Procedure

• Selection will be selected on the basis of academic merit, Personal Interaction (PI) and Writing Ability Test (WAT) 
• Personal Interaction – Interaction with a panel of faculty members / experts who try to comprehend the knowledge and understanding of the candidate with respect to Economics, Mathematics and Statistics
• Writing Ability Test – Essay type written test on a general topic to comprehend the candidate’s writing skill

• The applicants can register online at https://siu.ishinfo.com/SIUDPGF/Register/Index.aspx 

Payment Process:

Step 1 

• Pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs.1000/- by Demand Draft (DD) in favour of Symbiosis School of Economics, payable at Pune
• Choose the mode of Payment as demand draft in Make Payment tab and click Submit. Write your SSEPG ID and name at the backside of the Demand Draft.
• Take a print of the payment advice form, sign & send it along with the demand draft to Symbiosis School of Economics only at Symbiosis School of Economics (SSE), Senapati Bapat Road, Pune-411004
• Alternatively, you can also pay online through Credit card /Debit card /Net Banking with the payment gateway link provided in the form, when you choose the mode of Payment as Online Payment in the Make Payment Tab before clicking Submit.

Step 2 

• Symbiosis School of Economics (SSE) will authenticate the payment details and will send you an email confirming the payment for SSE

• Academic Fee (per annum) Rs. 1,93,000
• Institute Deposit (Refundable) Rs. 10,000
• Total Rs.2, 03, 000
• 1st Installment: Rs. 1,06,500
• 2nd Installment: Rs. 96,500
