Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS), Chennai Invites Applications for Admission into UG Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following UG programs in various institutes in the state for 2012-13.

Eligibility Conditions

The candidates should be from Tamil Nadu.
The candidates should have passed higher secondary examination or an equivalent examination.
The general candidates should not be more than 21 years of age as on 1^st Jul, 2012. There is no age limit for SC/ST candidates.

How to Apply

Separate application forms should be used for each course.
The application forms can be obtained in person from the institutes listed on the website by submitting a written requisition along with a demand draft of Rs.600 for general candidates and Rs.300 for SC/ST candidates drawn in favor of ‘The Finance Officer, TANUVAS, Chennai – 600051’ payable at Chennai.
The application form can also be obtained by post by sending the requisition letter and demand draft of Rs.600 for general candidates and Rs.300 for SC/ST candidates drawn in favor of ‘The Finance Officer, TANUVAS, Chennai – 600051’ payable at Chennai along with a stamped Rs.40 self addressed envelope to any one of the institutes listed on the website.
The duly filled in application form should reach ‘The Chairman, Admission Committee (UG),TANUVAS, Madhavaram Milk Colony, Chennai 600051’ by 18^th Jun, 2012 at the latest.

Selection Procedure

The candidates will be selected based on their performance in the HSC/equivalent examination as per the Government Orders.
