All the eligible candidates are invited for recruitment 2011, for following various posts:
- Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- Computer Operator
- Typist
The recruitment for SRF and JRF is to be done for the National Agriculture Development Programme (NADP) scheme on “Centre for Polytechnic courses in Animal Sciences” functioning at TANUVAS - Regional Research Centre, Pudukkottai - 622004. The posts are purely temporary and need based and hence, no claim shall be entertained for any regular employment at a later date. One must note that the service is liable to be terminated at any time without assigning any reasons thereof. The duration of the project is one year and therefore, the service of the individuals so engaged will automatically stand terminated with the termination of the project.
Note
- Selection (for SRF and JRF) will be made on the basis of candidates’ performance in the written test, followed by interview, work experience and publications, etc.
- The written test/personal interview is scheduled to be held on 11th Jan, 2012 at 10.00 am at TANUVAS-Regional Research Centre, Industrial Estate Post, Andakkulam Salai, Pudukkottai - 622004.

Eligibility Conditions
For Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
- Should have post graduate degree in Veterinary / Agriculture and Allied Sciences / Animal / Dairy Science / Food Science and other related subjects
- Desirable Qualification:
- Candidates with an OGPA of 3.5/4.0 (or) 8.0/10.0 or above (or) First class or equivalent grade / marks will be preferred.
- Candidates with post graduate degree in Veterinary Sciences and Candidates with PhD, degree in the mentioned non veterinary subjects will be given preference.
- Having research experience in a reputed laboratory / institute and capable of handling analytical equipments, computer and statistical analysis software will be an added advantage.
For Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- Should have under graduate degree in Veterinary / Agriculture and Allied Sciences / Animal / Dairy Science / Food Science and other related subjects
- Desirable Qualification:
- Candidates with an OGPA of 3.5/4.0 (or) 8.0/10.0 or above (or) First class or equivalent grade / marks will be preferred.
For Computer Operator
Should have obtained Graduate degree in Business Administration / Commerce / Accountancy with working knowledge in Computer Applications.
For Typist
- Should have completed +2 / Diploma in Commerce / Accountancy with one year experience
- Should have lower in Tamil and English typewriting
Required Age
The maximum age limit is 35 years as on date of interview i.e. 11th Jan, 2012 (relaxable as per government norms for SC/ST/MBC/BC candidates)

- Subsequently, candidates are required to bring along application (in the prescribed format), relevant original certificates (course completion certificate, provisional degree certificate, degree certificate and experience certificate, if any), and photo identity to the TANUVAS-Regional Research Centre, Industrial Estate Post, Andakkulam Salai, Pudukkottai - 622 004, on the day of walk-in-interview.
- The written test/walk in interview is scheduled to be held on January 11, 2012 at 10.00 am.
