Applications are invited from well-qualified, skilful and proficient candidates for various posts in South India Offices for the following positions:

• Development Officer
• Factory Advisory Officer
• Special Grade Stenographer
• Assistant Accountant 

Note

• Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of Written Examination and Personal Interview. Candidates qualified in the written examination will be called for the interview. The written examination will be held at Coonoor centre.

Eligibility Conditions

For Development Officer

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science / Agriculture from a recognized University
  
  
• Should have practical experience in the Methods of Cultivation and Manufacture of Tea / Training at the Tocklai Experimental Station or UPASI
  
  
• Candidates should be below the age of 32 years.

For Factory Advisory Officer

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Instrumentation / Agriculture Engineer from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Minimum two years of work experience in a Tea / Coffee Factory registered with the Tea or Coffee Board or Government Licensed Food Processing & Packaging
  
  
• Candidates should be below the age of 35 years.

For Special Grade Stenographer

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Should have minimum speed of 120 WPM in Shorthand and 40 WPM in Typewriting
  
  
• Should have proficiency in Windows 2007
  
  
• Minimum 3 years of work experience as a Stenographer in any Govt. / Semi Govt. / Autonomous Body
  
  
• Candidates should be below the age of 27 years.

For Assistant Accountant

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Should have proficiency in Tally
  
  
• Candidates should be below the age of 32 years.

• For paying the application fees, candidates should obtain a DD / IPO for Rs.100, drawn in favor of Tea Board, payable at Coonoor.
  
  
• Application form, duly complete in all respect, along with one affixed passport-size photograph, DD / IPO attested copies of all relevant certificates and one self-addressed envelope (23 x 10 cm) with affixed postage stamp of Rs.10 on it, should be submitted to:
