Eligible candidates are invited for the posts of Engineer Trainee and Executive Trainee in following disciplines:

 Engineer Trainee

• Electrical & Electronics
• Electronic & Communication
• Mechanical
• Industrial Engineering
• Civil (including one Backlog Vacancy for ST Category)

Executive Trainee

• Geology
• Human Resource Management

Note

• Candidates will be selected through a Selection Test, comprising of two papers. The tentative date of written test (will be confirmed in the admit card) is January 8, 2012. The written test will be conducted only at Delhi.
• Candidates, short-listed on the basis of performance in the written test, will be called for Group Discussion (GD) and Interview, to be conducted by the organization.

Eligibility Conditions

• Should have obtained full time Bachelor’s Degree (BE / B Tech) in Engineering or Technology from a recognized Indian University / Institute approved by AICTE.
• Candidates with not less than 65% marks, taking average of all Semesters/Years, irrespective of the weightage given to any particular semester/year by the University/Institute, and not less than 65% marks in X & XII examinations will only be considered.

For Disciplines for Engineer Trainee:

• Electrical & Electronics
  • Should have obtained degree / diploma inElectrical / Electrical and Electronics/ Electrical, Instrumentation & Control / Power System & High Voltage / Power Electronics / Power Engineering
• Electronics & Communication
  • Should have obtained degree / diploma inElectronics / Electronics and Communication Engineering
• Mechanical
  • Should have obtained degree / diploma inMechanical / Mechanical & Automation Engineering
• Civil
  • Should have obtained degree / diploma inCivil Engineering
• Industrial Engineering
  • Should have obtained degree / diploma inIndustrial Engg. / Production & Industrial Engineering

For  Disciplines for Executive Trainee:

• Geology
  • Should have obtainedM Sc / M Tech in applied Geology or equivalent preferably with specialization in Engineering Geology from a recognized Indian University / Institute
• Human Resource Management
  • Should have obtainedfull time two year Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Personnel Management Or Master’s Degree in Business Administration with specialization in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations Or Master of Social Work from a recognized Indian University / Institute approved by AICTE

Required Age

• Engineer Trainee & Executive Trainee - Not more than 30 years

Application Fee: Rs 500 (Exempted for SC/ST/PH candidates)

• Candidates can also fill in the online application form by visiting the direct link: http://applicationnew.com/thdcil/.
• Application fee is Rs 500 (nonrefundable and exempted for SC/ST/PH candidates) which is to be paid in the form of DD. The DD should be drawn in favour “THDC India Ltd.” drawn on State Bank of India (Code No. 1180) or any Nationalized Bank payable at Rishikesh. (No other mode of payment will be acceptable).
• Candidates must write their names and address on the reverse side of DD. The draft No., date of issue, amount, and issuing Branch should be entered in the online application.
• After submitting the online application, one must take the printout of the system generated registration slip.
• Candidates must paste his/her passport-size colored photograph and duly sign it.
• The duly acknowledged registration slip, along with attested copies of all academic testimonials and DD, should be sent in an envelope. Candidates, belonging to SC/ST/PH/OBC, should enclose attested copies of certificates issued by the Competent Authority as proof of the category they belong to. The envelope should be superscribed with the Advertisement No., “Advt. No. 02 / 2011” and post applied for and category (i.e. General/OBC/SC/ST/PH/Departmental, as the case may be).
