Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Integrated Post Bachelor of Science-Master of Technology (Post B.Sc-M.Tech) program in Food Engineering & Technology, Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) and Master of Technology (M.Tech) programs offered in various studies for 2013-14. 

Eligibility Conditions

For Integrated Post B.Sc-M.Tech Program

• Candidate holding first class graduates with qualifications of B.Sc with Chemistry as one of the subjects/B.Sc (Agriculture)/B.Sc (Home Science) with elective in Food & Nutrition/B.Sc Food Science/B.Sc (Fishery) are eligible to apply. Candidates must have passed Mathematics at 10+2 level. 

How to Apply

• TU application form along with the prospectus can be obtained:
  • From the designated branches of Punjab National Bank by paying Rs.510 (Rs.260 for SC/ST)
     
  • By sending a request to the Controller of Examination, T.U. with a demand draft of Rs.560 (Rs.310 for SC/ST) in favour of the Registrar, Tezpur University, payable at Tezpur, with a self addressed unstamped envelope of 36 cm x 25 cm.
  • By downloading the application forms from the website: www.tezu.ernet.in. The downloaded application forms should be accompanied by a draft drawn in favour of the Registrar, Tezpur University payable at Tezpur for Rs.500 ( Rs.250 for SC/ST). 

Selection Procedure

For B.Tech Program

• The selections of candidates are doneon the basis of performance in the JEE (main) conducted by the CBSE to be held on 7^th Apr, 2013(pen and paper based) and 8^th – 25^th Apr,  2013 (computer based).

For M.Tech Program

• The GATE qualified candidates with valid GATE score in the relevant subjects may seek for direct admission without entrance examination in the M.Tech in Information Technology, Electronics Design & Technology, Bioelectronics and Energy Technology , provided they meet the cut off score.

For Integrated M.Tech Program

• The selections of candidates are done based on group discussion and/or interview that may be conducted by the university. 

Important Dates

• Last date for issue of prospectus with application form for all programs (except B.Tech): 26^th Mar, 2013 (Tuesday)
• Last date for issue of prospectus with application form for B. Tech program: 26^th Apr, 2013 (Friday)
• Last date for submission of duly filled in application form for:
• All programs of studies (except B. Tech): 8^th Apr, 2013 (Monday)
• B.Tech program: 7^th May, 2013 (Tuesday)
