Applications are invited from well-qualified and proficient advocates for the posts of Assam Judicial Service Grade I and Assam Judicial Service Grade III.

Note

Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of candidate’s performance in the Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Viva-Voce Examination. Candidates qualified in the preliminary examination will be called for the main examination. The preliminary examination schedule will be announced later. Examination schedule and centre address will be mentioned in the candidate’s call letter.

Eligibility Conditions

For Assam Judicial Service Grade I

Degree of Law from a recognized University / Institute
Minimum 7 years of working experience as Advocate in the Courts of Civil and Criminal Jurisdiction

For Assam Judicial Service Grade III

Dgeree of Law from a recognized University / Institute

Required Age

35-45 years: Assam Judicial Service Grade I
35: Assam Judicial Service Grade III
Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC / PWD candidates provided as per government norms

Application Fee

Rs.500 General / OBC candidates
Rs.250 SC / ST / PWD candidates

How to Apply

Willing candidates can download the application format from the official link of Gauhati High Court: http://ghconline.nic.in/
Candidates can pay the fees amount of Rs.500 / Rs. 250, through Challan, which can be downloaded from the official website of Gauhati High Court.
Candidates can pay the fee amount in any branch of State Bank of India, in the Account No. 32400941582.
After paying the application fees, the bank will generate a complete Challan with the details of Transaction Id / Journal No, Date of Deposit &Amount, which candidates are required to fill in the online application form for its completion.
After successful submission of the online application form, the system will generate a complete application form with a unique Registration No. and Password, which candidates should print out and keep with them for future reference.
Application form duly complete in all respect, along with the 2 passport-size photographs, Treasury Challan and self-attested copies of all certificates, should be submitted to
