All the eligible candidates are invited for following various Scientific and Technical positions:

• Research Officer (Medical)
• Senior Research Fellow (Medical)
• Research Associate (Medical)
• Nurse
• Technician (Clinical/Field/Lab)
• Technical Assistant

Selection for eligible candidates will be made through walk-in-interview. The schedule i.e. date and time of interview is as follows:

• Research Officer (Medical) – 29^th Dec, 2011 (09.30 am to 12.00 pm)
• Senior Research Fellow (Medical) – 29^th Dec, 2011 (09.30 am to 12.00 pm)
• Research Associate (Medical) – 29^th Dec, 2011 (09.30 am to 12.00 pm)
• Nurse – 29^th Dec, 2011 (12.00 pm to 03.00 pm)
• Technician (Clinical/Field/Lab) – 28^th Dec, 2011 (09.00 am to 12.00 pm)
• Technical Assistant – 30^th Dec, 2011 (09.00 am to 12.00 pm)

Note

The walk-in interviews are being conducted to fill up the above-mentioned positions in clinical research projects at Paediatric Biology Centre (PBC) and laboratory research in the Centre for Biodesign and Diagnostics (CBDD). Appointment will be made on a project/contract for a period of 1 year with a probation period of 6 months. Eligibility Conditions

For Research Officer / PBC

• Should have obtained MBBS degree from an accredited Indian University with 3 years research or teaching experience after completing internship, or
• Should have obtained MD/DNB in Pediatrics or Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Desirable Qualification:
  
  • Should have experience in Pediatrics or Obstetric

For Senior Research Fellow (Medical)/PBC

• Should have obtained a MBBS degree from an accredited Indian University
• Desirable Qualification:
  • Should have experience in Pediatrics

For Research Associate (Medical)/PBC

• Should have obtained MD/DNB degree in Pediatrics/Obstetrics, or
• Should have 3 years research experience after an MBBS
• Desirable Qualification:
  • Should have experience in Pediatrics/Obstetrics or Clinical Trials

For Nurse/PBC

• Should have passed XII standard and Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery (3 years course) plus Registration as “A” Grade Nurse, or
• Should have obtained B Sc (Nursing), or
• Should have Nursing ‘A’ Certificate with 3 years experience in hospital or Nursing Assistant Class III & above from the Armed Forces
• Desirable Qualification:
  • Should have experience in Pediatrics or Obstetrics, Midwifery

For Technician/PBC & CBD (Clinical/Field/Lab)

• Should have passed Class 10th with 3 years experience in a laboratory, or
• Should have passed Class 12th with 1 year experience, or
• Should have Diploma in MLT

For Technical Assistant/PBC & CBD

• Should have obtained B Sc with 3 years relevant experience, or
• Should be 12th pass with Science plus 2 years full time Diploma in MLT with 7 years relevant experience in R & D lab
• Desirable Qualification:
• Candidate having professional work experience in ELISA based immunoassays and on AAS will be preferred, or
• Should have work experience on buffer and reagent and media preparation, basic cell culture, basic microscopy, Elisa cell counting, gel preparation, documentation, inventory management

All educational professional and technical qualifications should be from a recognized Board / University

Required Age

• Research Officer (Medical), Senior Research Fellow (Medical) and Research Associate (Medical) - 45 years
• Nurse, Technician (Clinical/Field/Lab) and Technical Assistant - 30 years

• Candidates appearing for the interview should bring a set of detailed CV with names of 2 referees along with a passport-size photograph and copies of certificates with originals at the time of interview.
