Applications are invited from skilled aspirants for the posts of Junior Lineman for the following zones:

• Visakhapatnam
• Vijayawada
• Kadapa
• Hyderabad Metro
• Hyderabad Rural
• Warangal
• Civil

Note

• Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in the Meter Reading Test, Cycling Test and Tower Climbing Test.
• The tests’ schedule will be announced later.
• Candidates can register online by visiting the official website of APTRANSCO: http://aptransco.cgg.gov.in/.
• The online registration begins from  20^th Jan, 2012 and will close on  18^th Feb, 2012.

Eligibility Conditions

• SSLC / SSC / 10th Class qualification from a recognized Board
• ITI qualification in Electrical Trade / Wireman or Intermediate Vocational Course in Electrical Domestic Appliances and Rewinding (EDAR) and Electrical Wring & Contracting (EWC) on par with Electrical Wring and Servicing of Electrical Appliances (EW & SEA) from a recognized Institution / Board

Required Age

    Candidates should be above the age of 18 years and below the age of 35 years (Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC candidates as per government norms)

• Complete application form along with two attested (by Gazetted officer) passport-size photographs, self-addressed envelope of 11 cm x 5 cm with affixed postal stamp of Rs 10 and attested (by Gazetted officer) copies of all the certificates, should be submitted to the address of Concerned Zonal Chief Engineers.
• Candidates should mention “Application for the Post of Junior Lineman” on the envelope in which the form would be sent.
