Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of 47 constable (Driver) men under Tripura Police department. Applicants may appear walk – in – interview that will be held on 3^rd May 2016 to 26^th May 2016.

Age Limit

The age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years and should not be more than 25 years. The age of the applicant should be as on 1st day of January of the year in which selection is held. Maximum age limit relax able by 2 years in case of applicants who are graduate. Also maximum age limit relax able up to 5 years for applicants belonging to schedule caste categories candidates / schedule tribe categories candidates.

Qualification

Candidates should have passed class VIII for others passed Madhyamik or equivalent examination.

Selection Procedure

The selection of the candidates will be on the basis of written examination and personal interview depending on the number of applications received.

Age Relaxation

The upper age of the candidates in relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below:-

By 5 years for candidates belonging to ST communities.
By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC communities.
By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.

Experience

Candidates should have three year of experience in driving and maintenance of motor vehicle.
